Kicker Rock

Kicker Rock is one of the most famous dive/snorkel sites well known around the world and is located in San Cristóbal – Galapagos one of the most beautiful places to dive, wall dive, rocky bottom, sandy with some surge currents.

Divers need to meet a minimum requirement to book a dive in Kicker Rock, marine life depends of water temperature, season, for example hammerheads preferred warm waters, the rest of the animals usually seen during all year long, eagle rays, galapagos sharks, mobula, sea turtle, morays, sea lions, finally hundreds of fish from different kind.

Carawa - Shipwreck

The only shipwreck in the all galapagos is located here in San Cristóbal and we recommend this site for begginer diver, open water dives, the place has some surge current which is normal in galapagos, but not for first time divers used to dive sites with no current.

The ship has been sunk since 1920 in baquerizo moreno port, it was a cargo ship with 3 boilers, you can still see the coil around the bridge, a broken ship already open apart is now an artificial reef with fish, rays, sea lions and more.

Darwin Bay

Frigate Hill also knows as Darwin Bay, received the name because of all the frigates you see flying around, resting, beautiful landscape unique to appreciate while waiting for an interval.

Darwin bay is beautiful place to dive with sea lions, sea turtle, sting rays, and what’s even better is the location, just 5 min from town by boat only and a great bay to start your first dive experience or just regular dive, well recommended to gain more confidence prior to kicker rock for example, we start we shallow depth as 4 meters, you will love it.

Whale Rock

Whale Rock is located 30 min from Baquerizo Moreno port in San Cristobal, this rock is also a cleaning station full of fish, an encounter of 2 main currents coming from the southwest at the south season, and only west at the north season.

why does its call whale rock? because from the surface you can spot something floating like a whale, also the sound of the wave hitting the rocks, the depth varies from 16m/55ft to 90ft/ 25m, This dive site is home of some pampano fish, Jacks, stonefish, sea turtle, anemones, rays, sometimes shark, only certified divers.

Night Diving

Night Diving, San Cristobal has a unique bay ideal for night diving in Galapagos, this is offered in safe places, such as frigate hill, Shipwreck, or aquariums pier.

You can make this dive and added as one specialty, advance course, or just book the dive trip, max depth is 12 m/25 ft, max groups of 5 divers, what can you see at night? Plankton, the fish hiding from a predator (sea lions), lobster, whiptail stingray, octopus, slipper lobster, live a different experience.

Cave Dive

The cave is near San Cristóbal and is recommended for open water divers who would like to experience deep diving as specialty also for Advance open water divers.

The dive cave start at 24 meters and finish at 33 meter and we start ascending before the end of decompression to prevent any dive accident, the cave has sandy bottom very narrow cave as long as probably 8 meters length, it is also a nice place to see some corals.
